In order to configure a Workflow service, you must specify a parameter. A parameter can be an input value or an output value. For more information, see the Workflow Flow Diagram. A Workflow is a set of tasks, each of which has an associated state. When an object changes state, the Workflow service triggers the specified tasks and completes the backend process. This article will introduce the workflow service and explain its benefits.

To modify a criteria in a workflow, use the Criteria workflow service. You can change the workflow type and metadata conditions by editing the Criteria workflow criteria. This workflow service executes using the Workflow Admin applet. If you encounter an error, it's because the workflow name is not valid. If the user's security check fails, the error message indicates that the workflow name does not exist. To fix the error, try the Workflow Admin applet.
A workflow service is not suitable for every scenario. It will catch all the unverified invoices but won't catch those which are validated. You should grant approval privileges by creating an Approval admin role. Once enabled, the workflow service can be added or edited. There are three different types of workflow services:
The Input and Output nodes in the Workflow Service are different from each other. The former supports arbitrary ports, while the latter only expects data in a format that can be produced by third-party software. The Input and Output nodes are created on the Call Workflow Service node. The Call Workflow Service creates an input and output port for the calling workflow. Then, the workflow receives its inputs and returns them.
